Charity Project - by Minx

We're starting a new project this month. We got a catalogue through the post from a charity called Send a Cow -  which, if you send them money, will send amazing gifts to people in poorer countries. You can buy trees, animals, equipment and training. Here's a list of the things we are hoping to get. (We have arranged them by price. They are our milestones. When we hit a milestone, it will be highlighted in green):

£100   Donkey + 10 Chickens

£2000 Farmyard - a selection of animals, plants, equipment and training

So far, we've raised £28, which is enough to buy a sheep. But we'll need your help to raise money. We're going to make cool accessories from recycled clothes and sell them on eBay along with some things we've made from scratch. We'll let you know when we have auctions up and running. You could also help by bidding on our artwork, buying prints of our photographs (list coming soon) and sponsoring us for various activities. We'll be installing a PayPal button soon to make it easier to buy our stuff.

So many people take what they have for granted. It's important for all of us to realise how lucky we are and to appreciate what the charities are doing to help those who are less fortunate. We should all help to raise money.
